Short Hair Wedding Inspiration for Brides

Short hair looks so gorgeous styled with accessories, adorned with flowers or plaited, here’s presenting a few ideas:

Art deco inspired head pieces look absolutely beautiful on short haired brides, with beads, rhinestones and intricate detailing and patterns. You don’t have to have a 1920s wedding theme to pull these off either – dark rhinestones look fab for winter weddings, while pearlescent creams are perfect for spring/summer brides. Head bands adorned with gemstones work wonderfully with pixie length hair and half-up, half-down chin length hair styles.

Ethereal, romantic or boho (but always beautiful), plaits are one of the most wonderful ways to style hair, and you don’t need long tumbling locks to wear them.  Braids make for gorgeous up dos and when implanted in a half-up, half-down style with plenty of waves look carefree and romantic.

There’s something beautifully romantic about a bride with flowers in her hair, and there are so many ways to go with this – they work with rustic brides, modern, beach brides and everything in between.

As well as looking elegant and chic, up dos also create the illusion of longer hair. Speak to your stylist about the effect you want to go for, you can also play with different hair accessories – from hair slides to head bands.

When it comes to veils, I think birdcage veils look amazing on brides with shorter hair, see examples above. Generally they look quite retro, although they can most definitely be worn classically, such as in the top right image.
