A citrus themed wedding is so much fun, I love the idea of not only using the colours but actually the fruits themselves. This makes such a lovely and fresh theme for a summer wedding, especially an outdoor one, or with a venue that is very minimal and neutral in its décor. The vibrant hues of the colours look gorgeous, but slightly more pastel variations also look so pretty. The thing with these colours is that you can really go crazy with DIY, handpicked daisies and daffodils are so readily available and you can fill mason jars with lemon slices and put bunches of baby’s breath flowers in them. We have a little inspiration for you if you’re considering a lemon and lime wedding:
Generally lemon and lime table settings tend to lean towards a rustic feel; you can go for mason jars filled with wild flowers – daisies and daffodils, vases filled with slices of lemon and lime and plenty of foliage and flowers with lemons and limes as table runners.
Yellow and green wedding bouquets look so fresh and fun, yellow roses look pulled together and elegant, sunflowers and daisies give a more rustic feel or you can go all out and go for an actual lemon and lime bouquet!
Sugared lemons (top left) make unique and fun centrepieces, or you can go for jars of flowers and vases with lemons and lime. All of these are very DIY-able!
